Review "The Hustle"

Hello everyone! Today I will introduce The Hustle. This is an American comedy film and came out in 2019. It was directed by Chris Addison and starring Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson. The Hustle is

a female-centered remake of the 1988 film Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, which is itself a remake of the 1964 film Bedtime Story. The film was expected to gross $11-15 million in its opening weekend in the United States and Canada. And the expectation was right. The box office was $97 million worldwide. 

The main characters in The Hustle are Josephine, played by Hathaway and Penny, played by Wilson. Anne Hathaway is an American actress. She appeared in Rachel Getting Married (2008). She was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress and in Les Misreables (2012), she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Rebel Wilson is an Australian actress, comedian, writer, singer and producer. She appeared in the Pitch Perfect film series (2012-2017). She was nominated and won several awards.

Penny is a small-time con artist. She deceives men for money. Josephine saw Penny's crime and she talked to her. Josephine is a sophisticated con artist and she cons the world's richest men out of their money. Then Penny learns that Josephine is a sophisticated con artist and she decides to study under Josephine.

I watched this movie because, I've ever written about Hathaway and Wilson in this blog so I was interested in their co-starring. There is a scene that is disgusting, but other than that, this movie is funny because it has a gag, Penny is crazy and Josephine is also crazy.
